Fourteen top local high school students have been selected to spend the summer researching in institute labs through the Kenan Internship program.

Fifteen high school students from Palm Beach and Martin counties celebrated their summer of accomplishment at the Glenn W. Bailey STEM Education & Outreach Programs Kenan Fellows Summer Symposium.

Since 2005, 218 local students have immersed themselves in research as part of the Kenan Fellows High School internship program.

Thanks to a 17-year partnership with the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust, more than 185 students have launched their STEM careers on the UF Scripps campus in Jupiter, Florida.
