Leica Upright SP8 Confocal with Pulsed Chameleon Laser, motorized stage and water immersion objectives. There are only 2 upright microscope frames in the core. This one is great for electrophysiology experiments due to the depth provided by the Chameleon Laser.

Coherent Chameleon 2P Laser – This laser can be tuned to wavelengths from 680 to 1080. The emission wavelength is approximately half the excitation wavelength.

HeNe 633 – Cy5
Reservation guidelines
Weekday, daytime appointments:
- Appointments should end before 1 p.m. or begin after 1 p.m.
- Exception: if one user signs up for a morning slot and another has an afternoon slot, a third user may fill in the time between the existing appointments.
- Each user may only sign up for one day time appointment per week day.
- Reservations may be made up to seven days in advance.
Evening (after 7 p.m.) and weekend appointments
- No restrictions on time.
- May be made up to one month in advance.
- Can be combined with other appointments (e.g., a user can book 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.0– 10 p.m. on the same day)
Additional notes:
Any unused appointments must be canceled in advance
If a user needs an exception to this scheduling for a specific experimental reason, exceptions can be made.
