Since 2005, 218 local students have immersed themselves in research as part of the Kenan Fellows High School internship program.
Scripps Research awarded doctoral degrees to 59 graduate students, including eight from its partner program based at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, during its 32nd commencement.

The new gift will help expand the institute’s high school internships, its graduate fellowships, and its kindergarten through collegiate educational outreach programs, which include school visits, field trips, science night participation and other events.
