GatorPitch Jupiter will be held March 5, 2026, at The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute in Jupiter, Florida.

On Thursday, March 5, GatorPitch Jupiter will bring University of Florida biotechnology startups to the heart of South Florida’s life sciences corridor at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, Florida.

The pitch competition will spotlight emerging companies with technology or leadership related to UF, offering investors and industry leaders an inside look at new technologies advancing drug discovery and human health.

GatorPitch, which debuted in Miami in 2024, has drawn hundreds of investors and entrepreneurs from across South Florida. The Jupiter event marks the competition’s expansion into the biotechnology sector and highlights South Florida’s role as a hub for scientific innovation.

Selected startup CEOs will present to investors after receiving tailored mentorship from The Venture Mentoring Team, a nonprofit program designed to strengthen early-stage companies and accelerate commercialization.

The event will also feature a research showcase from UF faculty and a venture capital panel with leading industry experts, including representatives from ARCH Venture Partners, Ascenta Capital, Mission BioCapital and Curie.Bio.

As part of the University of Florida’s academic health center, UF Health, The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute plays a central role in translating scientific discoveries into therapies and technologies that improve lives. Hosting GatorPitch underscores the institute’s commitment to advancing biomedical innovation while strengthening partnerships between academia, industry and investors.

The event is sponsored by Hutchison PLLC, DeepWork Capital and Wolter Van Dyke Davis.
